Bida Field Survey: January 15
On January 15–16, 2026, the Western Regional Team accompanied the General Manager on a two-day field visit to assess agricultural production and market conditions in the Bida area of Niger State.
Located in Niger State near the Kaduna River, Bida is characterized by a dense network of rivers that retain flow even during the dry season. The area is traditionally irrigated and serves as one of the major rice-producing regions. However, the severe lack of agricultural water infrastructure significantly limits the full potential of local production.

During the visit, the team engaged directly with rural communities and learned that although rice yield per hectare has increased, farmers are gradually reducing the proportion of rice cultivation due to market price volatility. The team held face-to-face discussions with farmers to explore strategies for addressing these challenges and provided on-site guidance in the fields on integrated management of weeds and pests.
In addition, the team met with key local clients to analyze current and future market trends, reviewed inventory and sales performance, and discussed upcoming sales plans. The team also introduced the company’s future product roadmap and support policies, reinforcing clients’ confidence in continuing their partnership with the company.
